Job Description
- Development: Develop new features, customizations and enhancements to Jive Software’s core product as part of our client engagements.
- Technical Leadership: Work with project managers and/or clients to scope work and produce estimates to help define deliverables and timelines.
- Demonstrate a deep knowledge of all product offerings and recommend new features and modifications based on experiences with past clients.
- Customer Interaction: Interact directly with customers to clarify requirements manage project delivery and obtain feedback on deliverables.
- Primary skills needed: Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, Hibernate
Job Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience
- Proficiency across the range of J2EE technologies, especially Servlet API-based programming. Webwork/Struts 2, JDBC, LDAP, and more.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, patterns and common frameworks.
- Solid experience on the browser side (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX)
- Impeccable communication skills and customer focus.
- Quick grasp of customer requirements and the ability to translate them into technical designs.
- Team lead experience a plus.
- WebWork (Struts 2.0), Freemarker, Spring, Acegi, AspectJ and Maven experience a plus.
